THINGS TO DO

L’Hirondelle is a perfect starting point to discover Praslin and its surrounding islands!

Boat Excursions

With our 3 boats, Rainbow, Runner and Summertime and under the experienced care of Precy and Mathieu Vidot and their team we can take you on day excursions, delicious creole BBQ on the beach included, or snorkeling trips to the surrounding islands of Curieuse, Aride, Sisters, Coco, Felicite, St. Pierre, La Digue to discover Seychelles unique nature and marine life. Fishing trips, big game or bottom fishing can also be organized. All our boats are fully licensed and insured.

The Beach

L’Hirondelle faces the Anse Volbert, one of the best beaches on Praslin: 2 km of fine white sand and turquoise sea. Two diving Centres are at a short walking distance down the beach.

Moving Around

We are at 8km from Anse Lazio, voted as one of the 10 best beaches of the world, and at 6 km from the Valle de Mai, a Unesco world heritage site, where the unique Coco de Mer Palm grows. Both are easily reached either by car, bus, bike or if you enjoy hiking, by foot. Praslin has many beaches and coves worth discovering.

Hikes

The Salazi track and Pasquere track are not far. Fond Ferdinand is also a much to recommend national park and excellent hike to do. Our staff at the reception will assist you to find your way around.

Dining

L’Hirondelle is situated in the tourism hub of Cote d’or, several hotels and fine restaurants are just a short walking distance away. If you wish to cook at home, there are a few shops close by for basic groceries, fruits can be bought by the beach, or you can listen for the fisherman blowing his big shell on the beach announcing that fresh fish is now for sale!

Golf

Our guests have the privilege play Golf on the world class golf course at Constance Lémuria Resort.

This spectacular 18-hole championships Golf Course borders the enchanting beaches of Small and Grand Kerlan Cove, as well as Anse Georgette. Palm trees, allowing the light to intermittently filter through, fringe the first 12 holes. From the 13th hold, the course extends over the steep slopes of a lush forested hill, with breathtaking vistas. The Lemuria Golf Course (par 70/5580m course) which has won the best Golf Resort in the Indian Ocean by the World Travel Award since opening its door in October 2001 was designed by internationally renowned American architect Rodney Wright and influenced by champion Marc Antoine Farry the France champion, this 70 Par course is the first and only 18 golf course in the Seychelles.
